She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Pickering. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Penfold and Melissa Heathers; her grandchildren, Carter Heathers and Kenton Heathers; her siblings, David Hillis and Brenda Hillis; and her close friend Carole Laurie.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
