Bissoondial Puran Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bissoondial Puran (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Raj Hemraj, Heematie (Annie) and Ganesh Anand Puran; his parents, Bedal Puran and Sitama; and his siblings, Savitri (Baby), Jasodra (Jass), Ramkissoon (Pota), Sahodra (Bibi), Lilowtie (Big Baby), Parmanand (Gur) and Tarawattie (Shirley).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Melina, Devesh, Nicolas, Tanysha, Shalini and Nalini; and his siblings, Kalowtie (Chiley) and Deopaul (Pala). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will follow at Sunnyside Foundation, 247 Franklin St. N., Kitchener, in the Heritage Room, from 2 - 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington, 831 Frederick St., Kitchener, ON N2B 2B4, or to Diabetes Canada, 1300 – 522 University Ave., Toronto, ON M5G 2R5.
