He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene King and Anne Anderson; his siblings, Janice Kerr (Gary) and Donald King (Diane); and his siblings-in-law, Don Poore (Donna), Isabelle Gambling (Jack), Ruth Main (John), George Poore (Dorothy), Shirley Main (Wilf) and Phil Poore (Sandy).
He is survived by: his significant other Margaret; his children, Kim (Peter), Marion, Angie (Colin) and Nolan (Michelle); his grandchildren, Mark, Darcy, Louie, Jeffrey, Jaymie, Brandon, David, Janna, Carly, Ryan and Emily; his siblings, John (Betty) and Elaine Keeping; and his siblings-in-law, Betty St. Croix, Jackie Zinkhan (Don) and Larry Poore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and church family members.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or King Street Baptist Church, Cambridge would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
