She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Schultz and Louise Schultz; and her siblings, Bernie, Ernie, Edward, Norman Schultz and Elaine Haidysh.

She is survived by: her husband Art York; her children, David, Cathy (Keith) and Melissa; her grandchildren, Matt, Sam (Sarah) and Chris; and her siblings, Richard Schultz and Marlene Bruckhardt.

Betty was a long time volunteer with the Kingsdale Community Centre, received her 10 year Volunteer Service Award & pin in 2013, and continued with that until covid shut things down.
