He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn MacIntyre (Gill) and John MacIntyre; and his siblings, Donald MacIntyre, Ian MacIntyre, Colin MacIntyre and Pauline Dunford.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Garland; his children, Janine MacIntyre, Jeffrey MacIntyre (Lisa) and Robert MacIntyre (Sherry); the mother of his children Deanna Durrer; his grandchildren, Brody McMahon (Olivia), Riley McMahon, Haley McMahon (Adrian), Madeline Diamond (Hayden), Emily MacIntyre (Adam) and Maya MacIntyre; his siblings, Evelyn Schmidt (late Bert) and Allan MacIntyre (Trina); his siblings-in-law, Gladys MacIntyre and Murray Wagner; and his stepchildren, Tara Garland and Josh Garland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
