With solemn reverence, we commemorate Aileen Shalay (Kitchener, Ontario), whose life came to an end on March 31, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Stephen and Peter; her granddaughter Alicia; her siblings, Glenna Skirrow, Fae Watts (late Wes) and Marvin (late Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Daniel, Harry Shalay (late Jean), Rupert Fry and Judy Skirrow.
She is survived by: her husband Stan; her daughter Kimberly Miller-Randall (Dexter); her grandchildren, Erin, Amber Timmons and Joseph Wynnyczuk; her brother Jerry Skirrow; her sister-in-law Bernice Fry; and her great grandchildren, Skylar, Trevor, Shania, Nevaeh, Capriya, Aurora, Caleb and Elizabeth. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (2723 Victoria St N, Breslau, ON N0B1M0).
