Adelino Gomes Fernandes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelino Gomes Fernandes (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Custodia Fernandes; his children, Maria (Julio), Lourdes (Antonio), Custodia, Jose and Isabelle (Francisco); his grandchildren, Jason, Tania, Kevin, Lindsay (Stefan), Sonia (Guillermo), Robert (Patricia), Andrew (Maria), Marcelo, Vanessa and Tiago; his great grandchildren, Ella, Lorenzo, Lola, Adriano and Cristiano; and his siblings, Manuel, Maria, Custodia and Jose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A prayer was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (305 Laurentian Dr, Kitchener, ON N2E 2N6). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
