It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Neil Semple (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on March 31, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Semple and Mary Semple; his siblings, Robert Semple and Ella-Mae (Toodie); his niece Tara Semple; his granddaughters, Kelsey Semple, Elise (George Irwin) and Sadie (Wayne Neville); and his pets, Chimo and Shiloh.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Skylor (Tori), Travis, Tiffany (Yanick), Harley, Bryce, Dru (Amber), Casey and Destany (Cody); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Elyse and Everly; his stepgrandchildren, Sam, Ali, Rebecca, Bethany, Damien, Aubree, Aurora and Averee; his wife Gloria; his children, Billy (Ilene), Randy (Eija) and Kelly (Kris); his siblings, Maryanne (Rick) and Terry (Jenny); his siblings-in-law, Joan Steenburg (Tom) and Nelson Irwin (Gail); his nieces and nephews, Corrina, Mitchelle (Donald), Shawn, Amy (Mike), Big Al (Carolle) and Little Al Neville (Missy); and his friends, Gerald and Norman.

After Gloria retired they were fortunate enough to spend 11 winters in Panama City Beach Florida before Willie's health started to deteriorate and Covid took over the world.
