She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Nicholls; and her brothers, Lucien Florent (Pauline), Donald, Gerald, Adrian Florent, Bob (Bernice Lenord), Mini (Lloyd Lang), Walter (Shirley Nicholls) and Dan Nicholls.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Nicholls and Gary Nicholls (Cathy) of Thunder Bay; her grandchildren, Adam Thorpe (Jessica), Amber Sasseville (Danny) and Greg Thorpe; her great grandchildren, Audrina, Madison Thorpe, Ryan, Keegan and Kadence Sasseville; and her sister-in-law Pat Nicholls.
Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Temiskaming Hospice Palliative Care – (145 A Government Road East, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3P4).
