It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romeo Rivard (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), born in Earlton, Ontario, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Germaine; his parents-in-law, Émile Chartrand and Marie-Flore Matteau; his son Ronald; his siblings, Roger, Rosaire, Sylvio, Gérard and Loretta; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanine Benoit, Jeanine Dénommé, Cécile Léveillé, Raymond Forget, Albert Gauthier, Omer Chartrand, René Chartrand, Marcel McLean and Jean Mino.

He is survived by: his wife Rhéa; his daughters, Carole (Bruno Dallaire) and Céline; his grandchildren, Cloé (Brian Regele), Jali (Jeffrey Miller), Céleste (Alexandre Isabelle), Valérie (Jacques Fortin) and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Mérick, Clara, Rafael, Lukas, Jax, Zavier and Adélie; his sisters, Jeanne d'Arc Gauthier and Reina; and his siblings-in-law, Cécile Rivard, Irène Chartrand, Janine McLean, Denise Chartrand and Réjean Chartrand (Rita). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Englehart Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Community Cancer Care would be greatly appreciated.
