He was predeceased by: his significant other Deborah Smith (Nychuk); and his parents, Leslie Smith and Janet Smith of Barrie. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Hachey (Bill) of Kirkland Lake and Steven Smith (Karen) of Englehart; his grandchildren, Ashley, William, Jackson and Jeffery; his great grandchild Boden; his sister Elaine Daniels (Garth) of Barrie; and his nieces and nephews, Kerri MacGregor (Josh), Kim Cunliffe (Darren), Owen, Jocelyn, Paige and Jorjia.
