He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovey Adria Malloy and Fulton Gaston; and his siblings, Doris Lawlor (late Ray), Wallace, Marjorie (late Bob), Robert (Rose), Clifford (Barbara) and Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Ann (Neily); his children, Billy and Paula; his children-in-law, Lisa and Roland; his grandchildren-in-law, Ryan and Christina (Alex); his siblings, Gerald (Brenda), Muriel (late Fred) and Linda (late Paul); and his sister-in-law Susan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teck Centennial Library (Adult Fiction) will be appreciated by his family.
