She was predeceased by: her son George Labine; her former husband Noel Labine (Chris); her parents, George Johnston and Kathleen Johnston; and her sisters, Barbara Lalonde and Rosemary Simms.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Contant, Kathryn August and Noella Labine-Bustraen; her husband John Emms; her grandchildren, David Contant, Jennifer McGillivray, Riley, Tyler August, Elijah and Isaac Bustraen; her stepson Michael Emms; her stepgrandchildren, Jenny, Joshua and Jordan; and her sister Gwen Polyblank.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
