She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Macdonald (Fuzzy); and her parents, Oscar Joki and Amanda Joki (Fillpula). She is survived by: her sons, Brian (Marcella) and Rob (Janet) of Lake Kenogami; her grandchildren, Colin (Christina) of Toronto, Andrew (Sarah) of Kirkland Lake, Kerri-Ann, Megan (Alex) of Miami and Tara of Kirkland Lake; and her great grandchildren, Scarlet, Eloise and Tristan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nellie can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
