He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sheldon and Marguerite Sheldon; his brothers, Fred and Robert; his father-in-law Brock Miller; and his pet Dozer.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Riley of Larder Lake and Michael (Manon) of Englehart; his grandson Ethan of Larder Lake; his siblings, Susan Cannon (Gary), Bruce of Larder Lake and Stephen of Larder Lake; his sisters-in-law, Susan Sheldon of Kirkland Lake, Diane Welch (Dave) of Hanover, Sandra Miller of New Liskeard, Linda Smeaton of Langley, B. C. and Betty McCallan (Dave) of New Liskeard; and his mother-in-law Rose Miller of New Liskeard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, good friends and extended family.
