With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Chouinard (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Marlene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marlene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest; her parents, Owen Merrick and Reta Merrick; and her brothers, Arnold Merrick (Lucille) and Carmen Merrick (Lynn).
She is survived by: her children, Lee Chouinard of Crystal Lake, Shane Jackson of Timmins and Jimmy Chouinard (Kim) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Josh and Jenna; and her sister Vivian Peters (Delbert). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
