She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Carleton and Maude Carleton; her husband John Jacob Veldhuis; her sons, Lincoln (Lori) and Jared; and her siblings, Barbara, Ruth, Betty, John and Edward.
After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease, Rachel Margaret Veldhuis, known as Margaret, died on March 29th, 2022 at the Northview Nursing Home in Englehart, Ontario.
