He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Thorpe and Janet Thorpe; his wife Helen; his children, Bernadine (Guy) and John (Kate); his grandchildren, Melanie (Mark), Ashley (Phil), Hannah (Cody) and Jeff (Sidny); his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Kamlyn, Lillian, Odessa and Avary; his sisters, Florence (Victor) and Margaret; and his daughter Kristine. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
