He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Ella Smith; his wife Linda (Bayliss); his daughter Susan; and his siblings, William (Bill), Gordon, Rose, Hilda Mary, Ivy and Laura.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Patty), Krista, Tammy and Amanda; his siblings, Bernard (Joyce) and Ella Doty; and his grandchildren, Allain, Jamie Gravel, Joseph and Gordon Edwards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
