She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Parker and Mary Sweet; and her sibling Claire Maloney. She is survived by: her children, Bev Cook (Ted) of Brighton, Barry Scott (late Penny) of Metcalfe and Cathy Campbell (Don) of King Kirkland; her grandchildren, Sean (Carrie), Scott Cook (Lisa), Jennifer Scott-Easterman (Ted), Ryan Scott (Trish), Michael Campbell (Jessica), Jane Gauthier (Adam) and Alison Campbell (Derek); her great grandchildren, Joey, Chalsie, Ethan, Dylan, Jillian Cook, Juliet Easterman and Emery Gauthier; her siblings, Lloyd, Bill, Bud, Len, Larry Parker, Jean Holman and Kaye Thorn; and also, Brian (late Kathy), Gary (Sue) and Dean (Tracy).

Those wishing to do so, may donate in Joan's memory to Teck Pioneer Residence or the Charity of their choice.
