It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannette Roy-Duchene (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), who passed away on October 31, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Melanie Deschamps; her siblings, Albert Roy, Jean Paul Deschamps, Joseph Deschamps, Roméo Deschamps, André Deschamps, Leonel Deschamps and Donat Deschamps; her son Marguerite Labonté; and her great grandchild Bruno Roy.

She is survived by: her spouse Leo Duchene; her children, Yolande Shortt (David), Carole Roy and Tammy Comtois (Alain); her daughter-in-law Lois Roy; her sister Mignonne Poirier (Emile); and her sister-in-law Yvette Deschamps. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
