He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen; his son Kenneth; his parents, Denis Toner and Jean McPhee; and his brothers, Vernon Toner (Bud) and Bruce Toner.
He is survived by: his sons, Dean (Ann Marie), Hanmer, Earl (Millie), Kirkland Lake and Gerald (Denise); his grandsons, Roland, Brent, Derek, Matthew, Zachary and Andrew; his sister Patricia Hurst; and also Larder Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
