He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Porter and Simone Porter (Dumas); and his parents-in-law, Willis and Jean Freeborn McNally. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Porter; his daughters, Kaitlyn of London, April of Elliot Lake and Amanda of St. Catherine's; his grandchildren, Luke and Dayne; his brother Garry (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Shawn and Natasha; his sister Joanne; his nieces, Tina and Melissa of Kirkland Lake; his stepfather-in-law Art McNally; his brother-in-law Ron Freeborn of Meaford; his caregiver Alyssa; and also Sue of Elliot Lake. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
