Elsie Vahey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024, Elsie Vahey (Kirkland Lake, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Vahey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Catt and Mary Catt (McCarty); her siblings, Mary Snedden, James Catt and George Catt (Ed Gorman); and her in-laws, Dorcus Teeple, Faye Moxam, Sonny Gorman and Gail Rhoda.

She is survived by: her children, Lyn Gorman (Keith Barrington) of New Foundland, Bob Gorman (Paulette), Gail McGibbon (late Dan) and Dave Gorman (Debbie) of Brampton; her stepdaughter Sharon Vahey of North Bay; and her siblings-in-law, Floy Catt, Lois Catt, Gloria Laporte and Don Moxam. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie's memory may be made to the Teck-Pioneer Residence – Activity Fund (145 A Government Road East, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3P4).
