He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sampson and Elizabeth Sampson (Bessie) of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Nickason (Carl) and Terri Sampson (Lee); his grandchildren, Dylan Jones Eve Jones (Lynsey), Luke Jones (Jaylin), Travis Ames, Jack Nickason and Brittany Fuglsang; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Halden and Freya.

Don was loved, and will be dearly missed by many for his contributions to the community.
