He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Zapotochny and Mary Zapotochny; his sister Ann Houle; and his son Joshua. He is survived by: his children, Nick (Lorraine) of Timmins, Mike of Kirkland Lake, Lorol of Kirkland Lake and Lynda (Ron Belec) of Kirkland Lake; his stepdaughter Sarah Strickland (Jeff) of Kanata; and his sisters, Irene Bowie (Paul) of Toronto and Lillian Signal (Bill) of Toronto. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
