She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold John Brillinger; her son Kenneth Grant Brillinger; her parents, Harold Dixon and Gladys Dron; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy and Eldon Yake; her niece Ruth Fekete; her brother-in-law Jim Newton; and her friend Kirkland.

She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Jane Campbell of Cookstown; her daughter Anna (Dan Fraser) of North Bay; her granddaughters, Clara (B. C.) and Tia (Hamza Aouni) of Ottawa; her siblings-in-law, Marie (Frank White) of Sutton West and Ron Brillinger (Sharon) of Bethany; her great grandchild Nahla Anoui; and her close friends, Peter, Sue Gray (Kenogami) and Barb. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or The Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated in Barb's memory.
