He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline and Fred; and his brothers, Victor (Helen), Fred (Inga) and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Ridding; his children, Bill (Peggy), Paul, Richard (Linda), Brian (Maureen), Kevin (Kristine) and Sherri (Michael); his grandchildren, Nicole and Preston; his brother Michael (Carol); his sister-in-law Joyce; and his nephew Bob. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
