He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leonard and Helen Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Honi Huyck; his sister Barbara Jean Patterson; his nieces, Sequoia and Banyan (Huyck Lehman); and also, Andrew and Eric Patterson.
