He was predeceased by: his wife Beth Kuhlmann; his son Robert (late Cindy); his sisters, Marianne and Irma; and his parents, August Kuhlmann and Maria Kuhlmann.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Michelle), Tim (Dyanne), Tammi Michaud (Roger) and Mark (Lindsay); and his siblings, Bob, Monica Taylor and Patty Wagner.
