He was predeceased by: his sister Bobby Hinds. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brand; his sons, Steve and Mike; his stepsons, Jay Patry (Kendal) and Nathan Patry; his sister Gloria Byrson; and his parents, Joyce and William (Bill).
