She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert Dixon; her children, Ralph, Brenda Dixon and Wendy; and her grandchildren, Daniel Freeman, Margaret Freeman and Emma Freeman.

She is survived by: her children, Raymond Dixon (Kathy), Wayne Dixon (Rhona), Cindy Freeman (Kevin), Randy Dixon (Brenda) and Kim O'Coin (Ben); her grandchildren, Andrew Dixon, Kyle Dixon (Mirela), Heather Dixon (Josh), Matthew Dixon (Jessie), Brian Dixon (Kristie) and David Freeman; her great grandchildren, Daphne, Dex, Sofia, Eva, Lincoln, Adrian and Ali; and her siblings, Gwen Johnson (Ralph) and Theresa Freeburn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
