She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Short; and her siblings, George, Allen, Paul, Maude (Bortner), Marguerite (Freeman) and Baby Anne.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Robert, Catherine (Grantier), Heather and Jamie (Howarth); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Luke and Charles; her grandchildren, Alexandros, Anna (Gontcharova), Andreas, Kaitlin, Dennis (Myers), Amy, Paul and Toni Benedetto (Di); and her great grandchild Winter.
