He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick" Smith; his parents-in-law, Regina and Vincent Burns; and his brothers, Don and Ron Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Smith; his daughters, Hannah and Emma; his mother Dayle Smith; his sisters-in-law, Anne Burns, Margaret Burns (Greg Allen) and Monica St. Pierre (Walt); his nephews, Jared St. Pierre and Michael Allen (Christina Bisol); and his niece Laura St. Pierre (Emily Kerr).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd, Kingston, ON K7M5H2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
