He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Crain and Georgina Crain (McPherson); his brothers, Guy Welsh, Archie Crain and Gilbert Crain; his sister-in-law Linda Crain (Morrow); and his wife Sylvia Crain (Wheeler).
He is survived by: his children, Eric (Laura), Rebecca and Tyler (Rudi); his grandchildren, Jack, Axle, Wilson and Zoey; his siblings, Valerie (late George), Wilburt (Barb), Donna (Keith Brydges) and Roseanne (Fraser Rogers); his sisters-in-law, Diane Welsh and Catherine Crain; and his brothers, Wib and Tom (Tammy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many wonderful family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of the Blair & Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). A reception was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonalds Corners Agricultural Hall (194 Camerons Rd, McDonalds Corners, ON K0G1M0).
Memorial donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (Perth site) or Elphin Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
