She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Grant and Lena Grant (Russell); and her siblings, Millard Grant, George Grant, Russell Grant, John Grant, Earl Grant, Beulah Grant (Peg), Theresa Cameron and Gail Shaver.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon McAllister (Bill) and Don Hickey (Violet); her sister Donelda Smith (Donnie); her grandchildren, Laura Morrison (Nathanael), Andrew McAllister (Denise), Kristen Hickey and Hayden Hickey; her great grandchildren, Hannah Morrison, Caleb Morrison and Avery McAllister; her child Donald (Don); and her significant other Shirley Wells.
Charitable donations in lieu of flowers may be given to the Alzheimer's Society or the Lost Villages Historical Society.
