She was predeceased by: her parents, Melena Davis and Fred Coates; her stepfather Donald Davis; and her siblings, Aaron, Joseph, Alice, Dianne, Maggie and JoAnne.
She is survived by: her stepmother Marjorie Coates; and her siblings, Donna Mountenay (Barry) and Donald Davis.
The family of Melena have asked for donations be made to the Autism Ontario (Kingston Chapter) or the Salvation Army in her memory.
