She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Amaral. She is survived by: her children, Vasco Amaral (Alda), Goretti Couto (Carlos), Jorge Amaral (Lynn) and Nelia Bento (Raul); her grandmother Vavo; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Kennedy, Cristiano and Olivia; her siblings, Diotina Amaral (Arsenio), Jose Furtado Moniz (Clotilee), Lurdes Lima (Agostinho), Manuel Moniz and Serafim Moniz; and also, Elizabeth Trousdale (Gordie), Luis Couto (Zita), Micaela Goncalves (Joe), Ruben Bento, Mark Bento, Katarina Amaral and Jeremias Amaral.
