He was predeceased by: his parents, Chaganlal and Parvati; and his brother Amrutlal. He is survived by: his wife Bharati; his children, Mahir and Himansu; his grandchildren, Naomi, Ravi and Devan; his daughters-in-law, Heena and Ruth; and his siblings, Balwant, Hansa and Asa. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
