With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John William O'Brien of Kingston, Ontario, born in Belleville, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gerald O'Brien and Dorothy Christopher; and his stepsister Sharon Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean O'Brien (Jean); his children, Sherry Aylesworth (Tim) and Dan O'Brien (Louise); his grandchildren, Zachary, Jesse (Andi), Keely (Leo) and Tara (Nick); his sister Margaret McLeod; his stepsister Shirley Hamilton; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann, Ron, June, Bill, Bob, Debbie, Bonnie and Dave.
