He is survived by: his children, Heather Doody, Wal Doody (Eric) of Seattle and Mary Ellen Doody (Peter) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Jon Doody (Robin Brown), Chris Doody (Jessica Ellison-Doody), Michelle Doody (Justin Mohammed) and Siobhan Doody; and his great grandchildren, Olive Doody and Milo Doody.
John was an avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited throughout his life and to continue his great work, donations to that charity or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in his memory would be appreciated by the family.
