He was predeceased by: his son Christopher; his parents, Betty Cumberland and Ian Cumberland; his sister Nancy Redner; his brother-in-law Alan; and his stepfather John Currelly.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer (Alaric) and Pamela (Mark); his granddaughter Ella; his sibling Jill Trennum (Bob); and his stepsiblings, Chris Currelly and Tom Currelly.
