He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida May and Joseph Wilson; and his sisters, Joan (Stan), Joyce (Rudy) and Karen (Glen).
He is survived by: his wife Carolanne; his children, Joe Mallen (Melissa) and Megan Mallen (Brad); and his grandchildren, Porter and Wade. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Diabetes Canada.
