She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ede; her parents, James Lyon and Dorothy Lyon; and her brothers, James, Eric and Norman Lyon.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Ede, David Ede (Joanne), Richard Ede (Gaby), Gregory Ede and Sherri Holland (Mark); her grandchildren, Michael Ede (Tara), Ashley Ede, Cory Ede (Jess), Christopher Holland and Curtis Holland (Ericka); her great grandchildren, Jacob Ede and Emma Morey; and her close friend Martha Van Allen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
