She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Curtis; her parents, Percy Clarke and Lillian Clarke; and her siblings, Phyllis Vanhorne (Samuel), Jean McLean (Ross), Ralph Clarke (Joyce), Grace Leakey (Russell) and Clifford Clarke (Kay).
She is survived by: her children, Bill (Connie), Karen and Calvin Curtis (Roxanne); her grandchildren, Tammy Roth (Bill), Nicole Sutton, Ashley Curtis (Colin), Kim Greenlees (Marc), Keri Irving (Mike), Kyle and Connor Curtis; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Jenna (Megan), Abbey, Mya, Kaleb and Hunter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irene may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, or Breast Cancer Action Kingston.
