He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Wendy; his grandchildren, Kim and Viki; and his friends, Bill, Marion, Bruce, Betty, Chisanga, Shirley, Shauna and Naomi.
He was trained in mediation, was a volunteer for a crisis line and later, during COVID, a volunteer Sunshine Caller for several community members in need of a daily listening ear.
