With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freeman Stanley Franklin (Kingston, Ontario), who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Louise; his son Wayne; and his siblings, Clarence, Fred, Gary, Marie and June.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy May Funnell of Gananoque; his children, Rob (Donna) of Kingston, Debbie (Clifford Carter) of Nova Scotia and Shelley of Kingston; his grandchildren, Melissa (Ryan) of Oshawa, Kevin (Kait) of Kingston, Timmy (Carrie) of Sylvan Lake, AB, Garrett (Adrienne) of Moncton, NB, Chase (Kristy) of Spring Lake, AB, Michael and Bradley; his great grandchildren, Hope of St. Peters, NS and Aryel of Sylvan Lake, AB; his great great grandchild Hudson of St. Peters, NS.; and his stepgranddaughters, Shelley Poffley and Tammy Pigeon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
