He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Peters; his children, Susan Franklin and Robert Peters (Cathy); his grandchildren, Jeremy Franklin (Pamela), Damon Peters and Rebecca Peters; his brother Dwayne Peters (Roline); and his son-in-law Stephen Franklin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd, Kingston, ON K7M5H2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
