He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tierney and Marie Tierney; and his siblings, Clara and Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Tierney; his children, Ryan (Sharon) of Mississauga, Ann (David Steele) of Kingston and Drew of New Zealand; his grandchildren, Colleen, Kieran, Garrett, Liam Tierney, Bridget (Nicholas Gregg), Calum (Kelsie Norman), Brendan Steele, Quinn and Ciara Tierney; his great grandchild David Steele; and his brother Albert Tierney of Kingston.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (73 Picton St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0).
