He was predeceased by: his brother Joe. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Catherine, Teri (Scott) and Don (Nicky); his grandchildren, Erinn, Emily, Alec, Hannah, William and Sophie; his great grandchildren, Elliott, Shiloh, Rachael and Paige; and his brothers, Patrick, Jack, Larry and Richard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice to honour Donald's lifelong commitment to community service.
